beginner and intermediate group piano classes, advanced group and private piano lessons - something for everyone from school-age through adults!
We believe that families making music together are a key ingredient for successful music training, and that young children learn through play and exploration.
Utilizing ear training, movement, solfege singing, keyboard playing, rhythmic activities and creative projects, we also place special emphasis on cultivating creativity through improvisation and composing skills. You don't need to be an expert at music, because our teachers are trained to help you engage with your child to encourage learning. And it's great FUN too!

When I was younger I was very drawn to the beauty of the piano and found myself determined to learn every song I heard and fell in love with. The teachers and fellow musicians I've met and learned from over the years have had an incredibly positive impact on my life and I so enjoy being a part of that partnership with each new student I teach. My top priority in every lesson is to remind the student what makes them passionate about music and inspire them to bring their own personal touch to each piece they learn."

All of these activities are included in the Harmony Road classes, and what better way for children to learn than through play? The skills that children learn at Harmony Road provide a foundation for future musical learning as well as develop a lifelong friendship with music. I especially enjoy watching parents and children having fun and spending time together."
Carol is a veteran music teacher of thirty-five years and holds music education degrees from Southeast Missouri State University and Florida State University.
